It will be posted to the address that you used when you entered the event. If you entered between the 1st February and the 9th March, your number will still be posted out to you but will not have your name printed on it.
If you have changed address since registration, it is your responsibility to inform us.
The race packet will contain:
• Your race number with timing chip
• Summary of race information
Race number – important note
Your race number is fitted with your timing chip. Please do not cut the number down or fold it or remove the chip. Please make sure that your race number is worn on the front of your vest. Timing chips are disposable so do not need to be returned.
Do not under any circumstances allow anybody else to run with your race number. Amongst other issues, this can create major problems for the medical team should they need to treat unknown runners. Anybody found doing this will have their results deleted and be banned from all future races.
If your race number has not arrived by 23rd March please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or on 0161 928 6795.
What if something happens to my race number ahead of race day ?
We appreciate that sometimes accidents do happen but we would ask you to keep your number safe.
If you have a problem with your race number then please contact us as soon as possible.
What if I am coming from overseas? What is the race number procedure for me?
It will be mandatory for all International runners to collect their race pack from a central Manchester location on Saturday 7th April. This applies to entrants with a non UK address. Please ensure that you book your transport giving you sufficient time to attend the race pack collection. Due to the unreliability of International Postage we will not send out race packs to non UK addresses. There will be no race number collection facilities available on race day.
