Childrens_Hospital_Logo_3a.jpgRoyal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity raises funds to ensure continued excellence in treatment, care and research, enhancing the lives of thousands of children each year. We have three main areas of work:

  1. to support research projects to improve our understanding of children's illnesses
  2. to help to create an environment that's more child-friendly
  3. to provide state-of-the-art equipment for diagnosis and treatment

These areas of work mean improving the lives of thousands of children each year across the North West and beyond.

The support of the Charity means that the hospital can provide additional resources that make a difficult time easier for patients and their families who use the hospital.

Jack_Cooper.jpgRoyal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity Team is delighted to have been chosen as a charity partner for the Asics Greater Manchester Marathon. In 2013 we had an amazing 91 marathon runners supporting us and now we want to build on this brilliant number and have more runners than ever for 2014 but we need your help!

We have a number of limited FREE places available that you can apply for by emailing or by calling 0161 276 4522.

With our free places we are asking for a minimum sponsorship pledge of £300 per marathon distance, i.e. a single marathon runner should raise at least £300, as should a four leg relay team as a whole.

Don’t panic, if you already have a place in the marathon and would like to support Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity just get in touch and we will send you out a full sponsorship pack!

With your support we can help make sure that Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital isn’t just the largest single-site hospital in the UK but also the very best!
